Matt Glantz has signed an unprecedented multi-year deal with Parx Casino in Bensalem, Penn. Glantz, who has more than $4,100,000 in tournament earnings, will serve as the Parx poker ambassador at the casino which has become a major stop for poker players in the Northeast.
"Matt Glantz is a highly respected and skilled player in the poker world," said Tony Ricci, Parx Casino CEO. "His profile lends integrity to our flourishing poker brand." Glantz will not only serve as the ambassador of Parx, he will also play an integral role in the planning and design of the poker room expansion plan.
The deal was negotiated by Randy Kesper, founder of Poker Players International, a poker agency and marketing services company which represents Glantz. It is also thought to be the largest and most comprehensive partnership of its kind to date.
"I am very proud to have reached this milestone in my poker career and honored to be partnering with Parx Casino," Glantz said. "It will be my mission to support Parx in becoming the premier poker room on the East Coast. They have proven their commitment toward this goal since opening day and I look forward to doing my part to make this vision a reality."
Parx Casino opened in November 2010 and holds the largest poker room in Pennsylvania with 50 tables, high stakes tournaments, celebrity guest and prime amenities. The casino will also serve as the host casino for the first World Poker Tour Season XI event Aug. 10-15.
